D&T Evaluation Worksheets The reason behind these sheets: I was getting frustrated with how difficult it was to get students to ‘evaluate’, rather than ‘describe’, as they often did in the D&T project evaluations. The emphasis in these worksheets is to get the student thinking and explaining by answering questions about every stage of the ‘design and make’ process. This has helped them learn the meaning of evaluation through the process of asking reflective questions. The learning concept: The concept is that the acronym SCAMPER is used by each consecutive student to alter the last students’ design. I normally allow each student ten minutes per alteration.
